    The majority of requirements for LEED® for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance (LEED®: EB O&M) certification are operations and maintenance best practices and in many cases there are no requirements for facility renovations.

    Insight Rising will manage or guide implement LEED®: EB O&M within your company to measure operations, improvements, and maintenance on a consistent scale, with the goal of maximizing operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts.  Through LEED® we will improve your  cleaning and maintenance performance, recycling programs, exterior maintenance programs, and building management systems.

    LEED®: EB O&M has been implemented for buildings as small as 1,000 square feet and a large as the Empire State building and the Sears Tower which have been certified as existing buildings.

    LEED® Existing Building Candidate Evaluation

    Insight Rising will complete a LEED® certification business case for your building.  We will evaluate your building do determine if it currently has what it takes to be certified.  If not, we identify the improvements that may be required in order to be certified and the budget that will be required for these improvements as well as documentation costs and inspections.  We will also calculate potential energy cost improvements, procurement cost savings, waste handling cost reductions, as well as potential productivity and reputation gains.  We’ll make sure you know that the investment is a good one for your company.

    LEED® Existing Building Project Administration

    Insight Rising provides a lower cost project management solution over architects and engineers.  We eliminate the need for you to make investments in training and accrediting your own staff in order to manage a project.

    We take care of registering the project and developing strategies as to how to qualify for the points required to reach your desired level of certification. We educate your project team members on requirements during the process and gather all the preliminary data.  We also engage team members in the process so that the changes that you make are integrated and long lasting.  We then monitor performance during a required performance period and submit all documentation required to the third party who will certify your building.

    We even go beyond project management to make sure your leadership efforts are communicated to your stakeholders to insure that you get the image credit and improved brand value that you deserve.
